Limited availability!

12 Jul 21

We have been overwhelmed with enquiries for trips this year! It is great to be so busy, but it does make availability limited! We have added some extra dates but these also seem to have been snapped up. Booking for our half day trips is now mostly full until the last week in September! If you are looking for a bespoke trip prior to this, please do drop us an email and we will try and look for a date that suits.

We are keeping everything crossed for some calm weather and sunshine! Trips so far have been busy and we have been lucky to have already seen Puffins, Guillemots, Cormorants, Razor Bills, Shags, Fulmers, Eider ducks, Herons and lots of different gulls.  Young birds are now starting to leave their cliff top nests and can be spotted taking their first flights and trips to sea.

We have been keeping our eyes peeled for the Sei Whale which is currently calling the Firth of Forth it's home, but have not spotted it yet! We have also been watched and visited by a few inquisitive seals whilst out on the water.  We are always mindful that we are entering the natural habitat of the local wildlife and at this time of year, many of them are breeding.  As such, we keep a safe distance so as not to disturb them especially those settled on the rocks, but the seals will often see us and pop up by the boats to say hello.

Best Wishes George and Eve

What our clients say...

"This was truly one of the most unique, satisfying, and enjoyable experiences of our entire UK trip! George is a master kayak guide, whose knowledge of the Scottish coast terrain, flora, and fauna will teach and entertain you on your kayaking adventure! George was very careful to assess our level of comfort, and fully let us dictate the desired strenuousness of our kayaking trip. We visited two rocky islands off the coast and got to see loads of birds and seals! I couldn't recommend this enough to anyone who enjoys, or is curious to experience, kayaking. George is the perfect guide to introduce you to the Scottish coastal experience!"

 Pieter, New York

"We had an amazing experience kayaking in the sea by North Berwick. George is a brilliant teacher and we felt safe all the time. My two teenagers were so happy and inspired after the trip. We saw plenty of sea birds, including puffins. We also saw seals sunning themselves on the rocks of the islands that we paddled around. I would definitely recommend this experience! Make sure to bring sun protection , although George had thought of that too and let us use his :)"

 Malin, Sweden

"George was taking our group for a course assessment. Always friendly and relaxed yet totally professional, (....this guy really knows his stuff! ) He turned a fairly challenging day into a great day on the water....I learned a lot."
