Guidance for Covid-19

10 Oct 20

Guidance from our governing body was produced today and states that as long as people live within the Lothian Health Board area (Edinburgh City, East, West and Midlothian), they are good to paddle with us. Thought should be given as to how to get to the beach as people should not car share with those from outside their household and travelling on public transport should be avoided unless necessary, such as travelling to work. Between 12th and 25th October we will only paddle from East Lothian so that we are not travelling out of our health board area.  We ask that anyone who has a booking and does not live in the Lothian Health Board area to get in touch with us.

We follow strict Covid operating procedures to ensure that everyone is as safe as can be. We will require you to complete, sign and return our assumption of risk form and provide your address in order for us to support Test and Protect.

What our clients say...

"This was truly one of the most unique, satisfying, and enjoyable experiences of our entire UK trip! George is a master kayak guide, whose knowledge of the Scottish coast terrain, flora, and fauna will teach and entertain you on your kayaking adventure! George was very careful to assess our level of comfort, and fully let us dictate the desired strenuousness of our kayaking trip. We visited two rocky islands off the coast and got to see loads of birds and seals! I couldn't recommend this enough to anyone who enjoys, or is curious to experience, kayaking. George is the perfect guide to introduce you to the Scottish coastal experience!"

 Pieter, New York

"We had an amazing experience kayaking in the sea by North Berwick. George is a brilliant teacher and we felt safe all the time. My two teenagers were so happy and inspired after the trip. We saw plenty of sea birds, including puffins. We also saw seals sunning themselves on the rocks of the islands that we paddled around. I would definitely recommend this experience! Make sure to bring sun protection , although George had thought of that too and let us use his :)"

 Malin, Sweden

"George was taking our group for a course assessment. Always friendly and relaxed yet totally professional, (....this guy really knows his stuff! ) He turned a fairly challenging day into a great day on the water....I learned a lot."
